Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control
Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC) is the nonprofit organization that has been quietly helping save the lives of Chicago’s neediest animals for the past 21 years. This group is unique in our community because it focuses its efforts solely on the 15,000 animals taken in each year at the city shelter, Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) at 28th and Western Avenue, providing animals there with additional care and comfort not covered in the city's limited budget.
Proceeds from our events fund FCACC’s After Hours Crisis Care Program, Foster Program, life-saving medical care and also help prevent some of these disadvantaged animals from ever needing to enter the shelter.
